How it works
-
1.Mark when you're free
Share one link. Everyone taps the days they could travel and sees the overlap build up.
-
2.Vote on dates
We suggest date ranges from the overlap. Add your own, then vote for the ones you want.
-
3.See where you can all go
Destinations with direct flights from every city, with each person's price.
-
4.Shortlist and decide
Shortlist trips and vote. Once most of the group agrees, it's decided.
Use it for
-
Friends who live abroad
Old friends now spread across Berlin, Lisbon and Glasgow. Find the weekend you're all free and a city you can each fly to directly, instead of everyone flying to one person.
-
Stag and hen weekends
Collect everyone's dates in one link instead of a group chat thread, vote on the weekend, then shortlist destinations with what each person would pay to get there.
-
Family reunions
Relatives in different countries mark when they can travel. See which dates work for the most people and where the whole family can meet.
-
Remote team meetups
A distributed team picks dates for an offsite and compares destinations by direct flights and price from every home city.
How it's different from Doodle or When2meet
Doodle and When2meet are good at one thing: finding a time when everyone is free. That's where planning a trip starts, not where it ends. When your group lives in different cities, the next questions are where to go, whether everyone can get there, and what it costs each person.
The Group Availability Calendar answers both. Everyone adds their home city along with their free days, so once you pick dates you see destinations every person can reach by direct flight, with each person's own flight price. The group then shortlists and votes on the trip itself.

Questions about the group calendar
What is the Group Availability Calendar?
The Group Availability Calendar is a free shared calendar from MeetOnArrival for friends and family who live in different cities. Everyone marks the days they're free, the group votes on date ranges, and the calendar shows destinations everyone can reach by direct flight on those dates.
How do you find dates when everyone lives in a different city?
Each person adds their home city and marks the days they could travel. The calendar highlights the days when everyone is free, suggests date ranges from the overlap, and ranks them by how many people can make them and how many votes they have.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up, email or password. You create a calendar, share its link, and anyone with the link can add themselves and their dates. Bookmark the link to find the calendar again.
Is it free?
Yes. Creating a calendar, adding people and voting are all free.
Which cities can we fly from?
More than 400 departure cities in over 100 countries. Each person picks their home city from the list when they join, and destinations are matched to direct flights from every person's city.
Can we pick exact dates or stay flexible?
Both. Each date range can be exactly those dates, any time between them, or either. You also set how many nights you want, and the calendar finds the best trip inside each range.
How does the group decide on a trip?
Shortlist the trips you like and vote on them. When more than half the group votes for one trip, and no other trip has as many votes, it's marked as decided. Everyone can still change their votes afterwards.
How is this different from Doodle or When2meet?
Doodle and When2meet find a time when everyone is free. The Group Availability Calendar does that too, then also knows where each person lives: it shows destinations everyone can reach by direct flight on the dates you pick, with each person's own flight price, so the group decides on the trip and not just the dates.
Where should friends from different cities meet?
Somewhere everyone can reach by direct flight on the same dates, at a price that works for each person. The Group Availability Calendar finds those places from each person's home city and shows what everyone would pay, so nobody gets stuck with the long or expensive journey.
How many people can join a calendar?
Up to 24 people, each from their own home city. Friends who live in the same city can both join and pick the same city.
How long is a calendar kept?
Calendars are deleted after 90 days without visits. Anyone in the group can download a backup file at any time and restore it later as a new calendar.
